Dear Faculty and Instructors,
Would you like a customized library instruction session for your class? The MacRae Library is offering Library Instruction / Information Literacy sessions.
What we can do for you:
· Provide an overview of the Dalhousie Libraries (and specifically highlight the MacRae Library)
· Highlight library services available to your students, such as Document Delivery, Reserves
· Search demonstrations for books, journals and more using the various tools such as WorldCat, Novanet and databases/e-journals
· Start your research using Library Subject Guides
· How to manage references using RefWorks
· Get help using LiveHelp and online tutorials
You can bring your students to the library, or, if necessary, we can come to your classroom. We can also work with you to create short library-related assignments.
Please contact either Elaine MacInnis or Erin MacPherson to see how we can help you!
