Platinum sponsor Dalhousie University, along with Halifax, Nova Scotia welcomes the 9th annual Canadian Plant Genomics Workshop August 12-15, 2013 on the shores of Halifax Harbour at the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel. This event attracts researchers and industry leaders in the field of plant genomics from across Canada and internationally.
Sean Myles, Department of Plant and Animal Sciences, Dalhousie University Faculty of Agriculture, has worked to attract high profile speakers and colleagues to exchange knowledge, build collaborations and plan for future research during this three and a half day conference featuring over 20 speaking sessions, keynote addresses, poster presentations and social networking.
The proposed topics for the sessions of oral presentations include biochemistry, bioinformatics, development, evolution and domestication, epigenetics, genomics and mapping, metabolism and synthetic biology, stress and signaling.
