Student Impact awards were presented last week at the Faculty of Agriculture’s Leadership Banquet. Students were honoured for their contributions to student life on the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus. Amanda Luxton was presented with the Residence Student Leadership Award.

The Residence Student Leadership Award recognizes an outstanding student who has demonstrated significant leadership, commitment and spirit to improving the quality of life for students in residence.
Known for her open door policy and ability to always include students in campus activities, Amanda demonstrates exceptional leadership in her everyday life. She is known to be respectful of others, creative and certainly involved in many campus and house activities such as being an RA for over two years, Co-chair of graduation 2013, volunteering at Open House and College Royal, to name a few.
