Posted by Stephanie Rogers on March 18, 2013 in News

Six M.Sc. graduate students from the Faculty of Agriculture took part in the recent 3 Minute Thesis Competition organized by the Faculty of Graduate Studies.  Students had to explain their research project to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes, with only one slide allowed.  Over 90 students participated from all graduate programs at Dalhousie University  Congratulations to Zahra Dehghani, Faezeh Kharazyan, Todd Larsen,  Negar Sharifi Mood, and Anhao Wang for taking on this challenge, and special congratulations to Weixi Shu who won his heat and made it to the final competition!  It was a great opportunity to meet others and refine public speaking skills.   For list of winners see http://www.dal.ca/faculty/gradstudies/news/3mt.html
