Noel Enman Award
This award was instituted in 1984 in memory of Noel Enman (1961-1983). It is presented annually to a graduating technician or technology student whose personality and fellowship have contributed to student life and activities, thereby gaining the respect of the students and faculty.
Distinction Awards
Distinction Awards are designed to express acknowledgement and appreciation to graduating students who have, through their time, energy, talent and leadership, enriched the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus community during their studies without neglecting academic pursuits. Recipients are recognized for contributions made through their involvement over time in multiple activities, including, but not limited to, student government, campus activities, community service, sport and recreation, internationalization, or other campus programs. A Distinction Award is given based on the totality of a student’s contributions to the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus. Students graduating from all Faculty of Agriculture programs are eligible for Distinction Awards.
Nomination Process
Students, staff or faculty may nominate a student by sending the student’s name and the award they are being nominated for to Keltie Jones at keltie.jones@dal.ca by Friday, March 29th. All nominated students will then be asked to complete a "Nomination for Distinction Awards Information Sheet” that the Committee will consider in determining award recipients.
