Kudos to the Woodsmen teams (male and female) for winning top team (21 and over) at the Truro Sport Heritage Society Awards last week.

The awards celebrate sporting achievements in Colchester County over the past year. It celebrated the woodsmen's 2012 Canadian Intercollegiate Lumberjack Association (CLIA) championship – which was the first for the men's team. The teams would repeat their wins in 2013. Woodsmen Geoffrey Larkin was a runner-up in the Male Athlete of the Year (ages 21-50) category.
