The Dalhousie Faculty of Agriculture recognized its outstanding students at the annual Scholarship Banquet. Peter Swinkels (at far right), representing the Atlantic Farm Mechanization Show, is shown congratulating the recipients of awards sponsored by AFMS. The 2012 awards were presented to (from left) – Chris Richards, Bible Hill, NS, a 1st year M.Sc. student, presented with the $1,000 Atlantic Farm Mechanization Show Graduate Scholarship in Engineering; and Chris Ross, Harmony, NS, a 2nd year Engineering student, awarded the $1,000 Atlantic Farm Mechanization Show Scholarship. Absent at the time of photo was Rio Yorke, Truro, NS, a 2nd year Engineering student, recipient of the $1,000 Paul Babineau Memorial Scholarship, also sponsored by AFMS.
