Nadine Brooks, Sackville, NB, an M.Sc. student at the Dalhousie University Faculty of Agriculture, was the 2012 recipient of the $3,000 Allan A. Saunders Memorial Graduate Scholarship which was presented at the recent Scholarship Banquet. Nadine is shown with Mrs. Sylvia Saunders, and Jack Johnson, from the Selection Committee. The scholarship is awarded annually to a graduate student at the Faculty of Agriculture who is conducting research related to the dairy industry. Selection criteria include academic performance, dairy farm background and/or demonstrated interest in the dairy industry.
