Visiting Speaker and Holiday Gathering

We are excited to welcome Dr. Dr. Rabi Sahoo, Principal Scientist in the Division of Agricultural Physics at the Indian Council of Agricultural Research - Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI) in New Delhi, India.
Dr. Sahoo is visiting our campus from Dec 7-23. He is a seasoned and well-renowned international scholar in the areas of remote sensing, digital image processing, geospatial intelligence, big data analytics, plant phenomics and precision agriculture. He is leading a National Network program on Imaging Spectroscopy and Applications in India and is the National Coordinator of the Indian Precision Agriculture project (16 National Institutes and several universities are involved).
The title of his presentation is “Sensing and Data Analytics for Smart Agriculture”.
