ARC fundamentals
Accelerating Rate Calorimetry (ARC) is used here as the major method to study the reactions between charged electrode materials and electrolytes/solvents of lithium-ion batteries at elevated temperature1,2. Materials for sodium-ion batteries show similar electrode/electrolyte reactivity, but also some surprises!3
