On June 18th, the Walther Herwig III departed from Bremerhaven, Germany to begin the 5 week expedition to the Irminger Sea. 33 CTD casts were preformed within the sampling area, which spanned the southern portion of the Irminger Sea.

Russian scientific cruise from Gdansk, Poland to Halifax, NS by way of Greenland. Numerous water samples were made long the way.
CERC OST & IORE are partnering to develop a low-cost profiler for coastal shallow waters capable of measuring temperature, pressure, particle back-scattering, chlorophyll fluorescence and solar irradiance.

In the summers of 2013 and 2015 CERC.OCEAN collaborated with the Marine Research Institute, Reykjavik during the International Redfish Survey. The Redfish Survey is an ICES project that monitors the stock of the commercially important species Sebastes mentella.
