Retreats and Workshops
CERC.OCEAN team members not only have the opportunity to participate in retreats, workshops, and summer schools, but a number of these events are directly funded and created thanks to the CERC.OCEAN grant. This leads to a number of exciting opportunities for our team members.

- Ocean Retreat 2018

Funded by the CERC.OCEAN grant, the Ocean Retreat 2018 aimed to connect a group of students and post-docs from Dalhousie University across different ocean-related disciplines to participate in a retreat to promote interdisciplinary collaboration.

As a part of the TOSST program, students participated in the third annual TOSST/HOSST summer school across the Atlantic in Cape Verde, West Africa.

As a part of the CERC.OCEAN grant, a retreat was created to faciliate collaboration between graduate students and post-doctoral researchers across Dalhousie Unviersity with a common interest in the ocean.
