Priority research themes for Fall 2024 open call

NS and NB-based researchers, entrepreneurs, and backyard inventors with ideas to address hard-to-abate GHG emissions in the following areas are encouraged to submit proposals.

  1. Fishing and Ferry Fleets
  2. Nature-Based Solutions for Carbon Sequestration
  3. Agricultural Emissions
  4. Carbon Capture & Utilization
  5. Long-Term Energy Storage
  6. Electricity System Challenges Post 2030
  7. Hydrogen as an Alternative Fuel 
  8. Biomass as an Alternative Energy source*

Proposals are due: November 29, 2024, 3 p.m. AT.
