Funding, News and Announcements

The Habitat Stewardship Program (HSP) Call for Proposals for Aquatic Species at Risk for 2025-2026 launched on October 18. In conjunction with the launch, the DFO Maritimes and Gulf Regions are pleased to offer virtual HSP information sessions to potential applicants. During the sessions, participants will learn key information about the program including objectives, expected results, priorities, and eligibility criteria. An overview of the HSP application process, timelines, and key updates to the application template will also be provided. There will be time for questions and participants are encouraged to pose any questions they may have to the HSP team.

Three non-mandatory sessions are being offered. There is no pre-registration, but rather, participants are encouraged to join the session that best suits their schedule (see the session details and links below). All sessions are being offered via the MS Teams platform. See attached Outlook calendar invites. Please save the invite for the session that you would like to join (note: all sessions will include the same content).
