Funding, News and Announcements

The Office of Research Services would like to notify the research community of several updates to the ROMEO portal forms, going into effect at the end of the day, Monday June 17, 2024.

New Event Form

A new form is available to submit funding applications and agreements under an existing ROMEO file. Examples include the full application stage of a competition (with the original file being submitted during the Notice of Intent or Letter of Intent stage), funding agreements that support the original application, and more. The updated guide [PDF] includes a comprehensive chart that outlines the ROMEO Awards forms, list of examples for each form, contact emails, and additional notes.

Updated Form Names

The two main forms at the application level have updated names, to reflect a consistent terminology.

Previous Names

- Investigator Checklist
- Agreement for ORS Legal Review (No Account Opening)

New Names

- Investigator Checklist – Funding Application/Agreement
- Investigator Checklist – Non-Funding Agreement
