For the Investigator Checklist and the Agreement for ORS Legal Review (No Account Opening) - a new comment box is available, for Canadian team member details.

Previously, researchers were directed to the Keywords box or the PI Comment box to provide this information. Now, with dedicated boxes for both Canadian and International details, the information can be provided here instead.
 

Similarly, for Animal Care files, the team member box is available when you open a file.

What is the difference between the Team Member detail box and loading a team member profile?

Team members can be loaded under the Project Team Info tab if they have an existing profile in Dal’s ROMEO system. Loading a profile would enable that person to log into ROMEO and access the file. They would also be copied on email notifications sent from the system, pertaining to the project. As such, loading a profile is ideal for people who need to access and work with the file (e.g. a student or staff member making revisions or submitting events on the PI’s behalf).

Most external investigators will not have an existing profile. If anyone does not have a profile, or is being listed only for reference sake and does not require access to the file, the Team Member boxes are the preferred locations.

What is the purpose of the Comments box underneath the Principal Investigator Details?

That comment box is linked to the PI’s master profile in the ROMEO database. Miscellaneous details pertaining to the principal investigator (contact preferences, etc.) may be entered into this box.
