The updated Insight Development Grant (IDG) funding opportunity description is now available on SSHRC’s website, along with the application form, application instructions, and CCV instructions. For further details, please visit the website: Insight Development Grants (sshrc-crsh.gc.ca)

Instructions for the IDG 2024 application have been moved from the application form to the SSHRC website. The link for the instructions can be found on the IDG funding opportunity page. The instructions are no longer embedded in the application form modules.

Please note that researchers applying to the 2024 Insight Development Grants competition may now also direct their proposals to the Tri-Agency Interdisciplinary Peer Review Committee (TAIPR) for review. Webinars

SSHRC will be holding two webinars on the Insight Development Grants (IDG) 2024 competition.

The webinars will provide an overview of the funding opportunity. They will outline what is new this year and will include a question period. Advance registration is not required. The webinars will be held via WebEx on the following dates:
