With the current global and national focus on open science, the Nova Scotia Open Research Project initiative is part of a broader move towards more open and accessible research, including in the social sciences and humanities. The main focus of the project is collecting the broad research community’s input on how to best design a workable and beneficial open science policy. This includes current practices and challenges around research data management (RDM), open access, open data, outreach and citizen science.
