The software vendor for ROMEO has implemented a new procedure. Email communications from the ROMEO system are being sent from the following address:

do-not-reply-DAL@researchservicesoffice.com

The sender’s email address is included in the cc line. Example below:
 

When responding, make sure to click “reply-all” and adjust the recipient list as needed. The “do-not-reply” address can be removed, as any response to that address will return a bounce back message.

Dalhousie IT services has added the email address to their approved sender list. As an extra precaution, we encourage you to mark the address as a safe address, to ensure the emails are not sent to your junk folder.

In the growing research security landscape, this change was implemented by the software vendor to eliminate a spoofing issue that ROMEO clients were experiencing.
