The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) is in the process of renewing its website. Based on user testing and following Government of Canada website design standards, the refreshed website will enhance accessibility, navigation and overall user experience. The web renewal is ongoing and should be largely completed by the end of fiscal year 2023-24.

While SSHRC’s program architecture has not changed, in the near future it will be renaming the core Talent, Insight and Connection programs, which will become “Research training and talent development,” “Insight research,” and “Research partnerships,” respectively. This more descriptive naming follows plain language best practices and aligns with SSHRC’s corporate reporting framework.
