Seeking Innovative Approaches to Challenges Facing Canada’s Agri-Food Sector

The Canadian Agri-Food Automation and Intelligence Network (CAAIN) today launched its third open competition, a $5M initiative designed to foster advances in automation, digitization, and environmental performance in Canada's agri-food sector.

When added to the total of approximately $31M CAAIN has committed to the 24 successful applicants of its first five competitions, the $5M that will be used to support this funding opportunity pushes CAAIN’S funding commitments to well over $36M. Details of this program, descriptions of the projects funded, and information about how to join the free member-driven network are available online.
