2023 Scopus & SciVal Certification Programs

Hundreds of Scopus users across Canada have now completed the 6-week virtual cohort-based Scopus Certification Program. This year, Scopus will be launching a newly refreshed program, reflecting recent changes in functionality and the user interface. Scopus will also be piloting a new Advanced Course for those who have already gone through the Scopus Certification Program and want to learn more.

Following high demand of the SciVal Certification Program in Canada, SciVal will be launching two more cohorts for the 6-week virtual training course in 2023. The format is mirrored after the Scopus Certification Program and provides participants with a strong foundation of knowledge on SciVal functionality, while providing opportunities to network with SciVal users in other institutions.

Canadian Virtual Training Webinars

If you have already completed the certification programs above or are not yet ready to commit to a 6-week program, the companies also offer specific one-off training webinars open to Scopus & SciVal users across Canada, covering topics of general interest to many institutions. The webinars that are currently planned for the next couple of months include:
