The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) are partnering on the eighth Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (GACD) for research funding call: Implementation research targeting non-communicable disease risk factors associated with city environments.
This GACD funding call will focus on implementation research that leads to an improved understanding of how specific interventions – that reduce the risk of non-communicable disease onset or progression - can be better adapted to different city environments and/or scaled within and across cities, particularly in low- and middle-income countries or vulnerable populations within high-income countries.
For more information, visit the GACD full call text here [PDF].
Instructions on how to apply will be available in the CIHR funding opportunity once the call opens.
