The Arthritis Society is pleased to announce that the Junior Investigator Grant Mentoring Opportunity will be available again for early career investigators in arthritis research. This opportunity will support early career investigators in arthritis research in the areas of grantsmanship and peer-review processes. Successful applicants will gain first-hand experience and develop a deeper understanding of the Arthritis Society’s gold standard peer-review process.
Selected early career investigators from across Canada will join virtual panel meetings or, when in-person meetings resume, will be provided funds to reimburse travel costs to Toronto to observe a grant panel meeting. This unique opportunity will provide junior faculty members with an “inside look” at how research grants are reviewed to help structure their own grant proposals in the future.
More information can be found on the website, including the self-nomination form.
Please contact the Arthritis Society if you have any questions about this opportunity.
