ESDC Skills for Success Program – Research and Innovation Stream

Posted by Jaq-Lin Larder on February 7, 2022 in Research Funding

The Skills for Success (SFS) program funded by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) supports organizations that will help Canadians at all skill levels improve their foundational and transferable skills to prepare for, retain work, and adapt and succeed at work. Funded projects will allow the SFS Program to respond to current skills and labour market issues and enable the broad adoption and uptake of the SFS Model.

The Research and Innovation Stream will support research and innovative projects to identify better ways of helping persons prepare for, return to or keep employment and be productive participants in the labour force, and conducting research to support the skills development of adults.

Eligible organizations can apply for funding of up to $7.5 million per project.

The duration of the project must not exceed March 31, 2024.

For more information, you can access the full call here.

Note that applicant organizations cannot submit more than one proposal to this call. Any Dalhousie faculty member interested in this opportunity is therefore requested to contact the Institutional Research Facilitator as soon as possible, and not later than February 15, 2022, to register interest and obtain more information.
