Association of Commonwealth Universities: Climate Resilience Challenge Grants

Posted by Jaq-Lin Larder on November 15, 2021 in Research Funding

The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) is currently accepting applications for ACU Commonwealth Climate Resilience Challenge Grants, which provide up to GBP 2500 to help meet the costs of organizing projects that promote the aims and priorities of Commonwealth Climate Resilience Network (CCRN).

Academic and professional staff at ACU member universities who are involved in enhancing the climate resilience of universities themselves, and/or enhancing universities’ contribution to the resilience of communities, business and government are eligible to apply.

The grants can be used for a diverse range of projects, workshops, and events in areas such as:

  • Improving learning, teaching, and training for climate change adaptation
  • Increasing the research capacity of CCRN members in climate change adaptation
  • Improving institutional resilience policies and practise adopted by Commonwealth universities

Grant applications that allow matching or additional funds from the applicant’s institution will be looked upon favourably.

More information about the funding program, including a copy of the application form, can be found here.
