The United States Department of Defense is offering several funding opportunities that are open to Canadian researchers.
Lung Cancer Research Program:
- Career Development Award for early career researchers to work with a mentor. Valued at up to $250,000 USD for two years.
- Concept award innovative and untested concepts in lung cancer. Valued at up to $100,000 USD for one year.
Ovarian Cancer Research Program:
- There are several funding opportunities available within this program. Values range from $250,000 USD to $ 800,000 USD for projects ranging in length from two to four years.
Pre-Announcement
The following funding is anticipated for the Tick-Borne Disease Research Program:
- Career Development Award for early career researchers to work with a mentor. Valued at up to $300,000 USD for three years.
- Idea Development Award for research that could lead to improved outcomes for individuals with tick-borne illnesses. Valued at up to $600,000 USD for three years.
