Mitacs UKRI‑Canada Globalink Doctoral Exchange Scheme

Posted by Jaq-Lin Larder on October 5, 2020 in Research Funding

As part of the UKRI-Canada Globalink Doctoral Exchange Scheme, Mitacs is currently accepting inbound applications from PhD students in the UK who are interested in completing a 12-week research placement at a Canadian university. Projects must take place between April 1, 2021 and March 31, 2022.

These awards provide £10,000 – £15,000 in funding.

To be eligible, PhD students in the UK must attend a university funded by the Research Councils of UK Research and Innovation.

Canadian professors who want to register their interest in working with UKRI students can do so by entering their details on the UKRI-Mitacs Globalink host professor expression of interest form. Please note that all details entered on this form will be made publicly available.

Canadian professors who have already identified a suitable researcher should ensure that the doctoral student from the UK first submit their application directly through the UKRI website.

For more information, please contact Kathleen Mifflin (kmifflin@mitacs.ca).
