The Government of Canada has announced that the Faculty Mobility Program will now be known as the Faculty Mobility for Partnership Building Program.
The change in the name emphasizes the primary objective of the program, which is to support Canadian institutions in developing new collaboration and student exchange agreements or strengthening existing agreements with ELAP-eligible institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The program’s guidelines will be updated in an effort to bring more clarity to the application process and to allow faculty the opportunity to better align their mobility proposals with the program objectives.
More details will be available when the competition relaunches in December 2020.
