Updated July 19 - Internal Deadline for NOI has been added

The New Frontiers in Research Fund (NFRF) launched the 2019 Exploration stream competition on July 3. Competition documents are now available on the NFRF website. New this year, researchers at all career stages are invited to apply to the program.

This competition has three stages:

• Notification of Intent to Apply (NOI) – Internal Deadline: August 7, 2019; NFRF Deadline: August 7, 2019 (9pm AST)
• Letter of Intent to Apply (LOI) – Internal deadline: August 21, 2019; NFRF deadline: September 4, 2019 (9 pm AST)
• Application – Internal deadline: December 2, 2019; NFRF deadline: December 10, 2019 (9 pm AST)

NFRF will be hosting webinars for each stage of the competition. The NOI stage webinars will take place on the dates and times listed below. Space is limited to 1000 participants; ORS will host the English webinars only at the locations indicated below.

• July 9: 2 - 4 pm (AST) – English (Marion McCain Building, Scotiabank Auditorium)
• July 10: 11 am – 1 pm (AST) – French
• July 15: 2 - 4 pm (AST) – French
• July 17: 11 am – 1 pm (AST) – English (Tupper Building, Theatre B)
