The Lung Association of Nova Scotia (LANS) is thrilled to announce that applications are now open for the Legacy Research Grant.

The Legacy Research Grant is intended to provide funding in support of high quality, leading-edge, respiratory-related research in Nova Scotia, that will help to manage and prevent lung disease. 

This year, LANS is pleased to announce that it is offering up to $50,000 in grant money, thanks to a partnership with the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation.

Please note the following important dates regarding the application:

Internal Deadline: April 12, 2019 at 4:30pm
Agency Deadline: April 19, 2019 at 4:30pm
Decision Deadline: June 30, 2019
Grants Distributed: September, 2019
