ACENET: Accelerate Discovery

Posted by Jaq-Lin Larder on January 7, 2019 in Announcements

ACENET has released a list of training sessions and webinars that will be conducted within the next several months. A variety of topics are covered, including introductions to shell scripting, research data management tools, job scheduling and more.

Additionally, ACENET's last two operational clusters, Glooscap and Placentia, are scheduled to be decommissioned 31 March, 2019, after which ACENET will no longer support them.

Users will need to migrate their data from the two systems to one of the Compute Canada national systems. The deadline for data to be removed is March 18. Resources to guide this process are provided below.

If you require any assistance, please contact support@ace-net.ca well in advance of the March 18 deadline.
