Funded by IDRC in Canada and the UK Government, InnoVET-AMR seeks proposals for research that will develop innovative veterinary solutions focused on product development to reduce therapeutic and prevent non-therapeutic antimicrobial (AMR) use by farmers in developing countries. The program specifically focuses on reducing AMR in swine, poultry, and aquaculture animals.

Successful teams will receive grants of $1-3 million, for projects of 33 months’ duration.

Please visit IDRC’s website for more information and links to the guidelines and application form.

Any faculty member interested in this opportunity is asked to contact the International Research Manager in Dalhousie Research Services (jennifer.morawiecki@dal.ca) for more information and support in preparing an application.
