The Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation is now accepting applications for their Community Innovation Awards.

These awards provide support to community-based surgeons and research studies dedicated to improving patient care or musculoskeletal health. In 2018, two $15,000 awards are available.

For the purposes of this award, community surgeons may have an academic appointment to teach on an occasional basis; however, they should not be full time academics nor have a research history. More information about the competition can be found on the website.
