Indigenous Healthcare Event: UBC Surgeon Dr. Nadine Caron & the Aboriginal Children’s Hurt & Healing Initiative 

March 21, 2017

We are welcoming expressions of interest from students, faculty, researchers and clinicians to prepare a poster on any work or initiatives related to Indigenous health. The posters will be showcased at an evening event on March 21st, 2017 at Dalhousie University. There is no fee or registration required to attend the event. Your poster will be displayed for the event and you can speak with attendees about your work during the reception portion of the evening. 

The event is a keynote by UBC surgeon Dr. Nadine Caron, the first female First Nations surgeon in Canada, with a presentation by the IWK and Dalhousie Centre for Transformative Nursing & Allied Health Research Aboriginal Children’s Hurt & Healing Initiative. There will be time for discussion and Q&A. Further details are available here (pdf).
