Similar to last year, institutions are given a quota of applications that they can submit to the national competition. Dalhousie University can submit 18 Research Tools and Instruments (RTI) applications to the national competition. NSERC is requiring that institutions have an internal pre-selection process to select applications to be submitted to the national competition. Dalhousie will conduct a similar process as last year, in which five of our eighteen submitted were awarded funding.
