Partnership Program with North America: short‑term funding

Posted by Suman Jha on May 16, 2016 in Research Funding

The Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU) has launched a call for Short-Term Projects under its Partnership Program for North America. The program supports cooperation between Norway, the USA and Canada, to develop institutionally anchored partnerships of high quality. Central objectives are increased cooperation, increased links between research and education, increased collaboration with industry/work life and increased student mobility.

Successful short-term projects will run from 2017-2018 (two years) and receive funding of NOK 300,000 (approx. C$47,500).  Note that applications are to be submitted by Norwegian higher education institutions. Therefore, applicants would need to have an existing relationship in place with a Norwegian institution in order to apply.

For further information on the program and the application process, please visit the website here.

Any interested Dalhousie faculty member is asked to contact the International Research Facilitator (jennifer.morawiecki@dal.ca) for more information and support in preparing an application.

Deadline: 17 October 2016
