Webinar: Intro to Nova Scotia's Primary and Integrated Health Care Research Network

Posted by Suman Jha on May 9, 2016 in Events

Save the date for an opportunity to learn about Nova Scotia’s CIHR-funded SPOR network in primary and integrated health care innovations.

Building Research for Integrated Primary Healthcare (BRIC NS) is a primary and integrated healthcare research network in Nova Scotia.  BRIC NS is committed to building a strong foundation for primary and integrated healthcare in the province.  Through partnership, we’re supporting each other and becoming more than the sum of our parts.

BRIC NS is part of the pan-Canadian SPOR Network in Primary and Integrated Health Care Innovations, a network of networks with representation from across the country. With foundations in community-based primary healthcare, BRIC NS is creating partnerships within and across sectors of healthcare (e.g public health, primary healthcare, secondary, tertiary, home and long-term care) as well as outside of the health sector (e.g education, housing, social services) to improve individual and population health, health equity and health system outcomes.

CIHR has set aside funds specifically for research related to primary and integrated healthcare and for members of the Primary and Integrated Health Care Innovations networks across the country.  These funding opportunities, including the recently launched Knowledge Synthesis Grants, are available to all BRIC NS members. New BRIC NS members are welcome from all disciplines and sectors.  More information can be found at www.bricns.com

Please join us for a webinar on May 24 from 2:00 – 3:30 pm to:

  • Receive an introduction to BRIC NS
