Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) are pleased to launch a call for proposals to support peer-reviewed research on Syrian refugee resettlement in Canada. The key objective of this joint initiative and call is to award supplementary support to active SSHRC funded researchers working in areas related to immigration and refugee resettlement. The call seeks to support research addressing pressing short-term issues related to the current refugee resettlement effort, in order to inform and support the efforts of policymakers, service organisation and other stakeholders.
