Commonwealth Fund International Health Policy Survey

The CIHR Institute of Health Services and Policy Research (IHSPR) is co-leading and co-funding Canada’s participation in the 2014 Commonwealth Fund International Health Policy (IHP) Survey with the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI).

The Commonwealth Fund is a private foundation supporting independent research on health policy reform and a high performance health system. The Commonwealth Fund and its international partners conduct a survey in 11 countries that helps measure and monitor health system performance over time. In 2014, the survey focused on Older Adults.

Objective of the Dissemination Award
To support dissemination activities arising from research analyses using Canadian and international comparative data from the 2014 Commonwealth Fund International Health Policy Survey.

Eligibility The award is offered to trainees (graduate students, post-doctoral fellows) who publish or present the results of an analysis using Canadian and/or IHP survey data.

Award Up to 10 winners will each receive $2,500 to publish in a peer-reviewed journal and/or present at an oral session at a national or international conference. Profiles of all 10 winners will also be published through various IHSPR communication vehicles.

Application deadline: December 10, 2015

Anticipated Notification of decision: March 31, 2016

Funding per award: $2,500
