Lecture by Thomas Marrie, Dean, Faculty of Medicine at Dalhousie University Professor and Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada

Dr. Thomas Marrie is known across the country as a leading infectious diseases specialist. During his 25 years at Dalhousie as an educator and physician, Dr. Marrie established the university’s Division of Infectious Diseases. His research has focused on understanding the cause of pneumonia helping to improve the lives of Canadians. Dr. Marrie will discuss his research as part of the Royal Society of Canada New Fellow Lecture Series. Presented in partnership with the Royal Society of Canada Atlantic Chapter, Shannex and Dalhousie University.
