Mitacs Globalink Research Awards, INRIA France

This autumn, the Mitacs Globalink Research Awards program is hosting a special initiative with INRIA, the French research institution for computer science and applied mathematics.

Opportunities are now available to fund the mobility of French and Canadian graduate students, to work on research projects jointly supervised by eligible Canadian and INRIA faculty in the following fields:
• Applied mathematics, computation and simulation
• Algorithmic, programming, software and architecture
• Networks, systems and services, distributed computing
• Perception, cognition, interaction
• Digital Health, Biology and Earth

Dalhousie faculty may submit applications on behalf of their graduate students, for awards to be taken up in France. Similarly, INRIA faculty may submit applications on behalf of their graduate students, for awards to be taken up in Canada. Awards of up to $5,000 will be made to Canadian graduate students in support of 12- to 24-week research projects at an INRIA research centre in France.
