Posted by Michelle Wood on October 7, 2014 in Research Funding

Mitacs Globalink Research Awards help faculty and students at Canadian universities deepen the research links between Canadian and international educational institutions. Dalhousie faculty in any discipline may submit applications on behalf of their senior undergraduate or graduate students. Awards of up to $5,000 will be made to students in support of 12- to 24-week research projects at selected universities in Brazil, China, India, Mexico, Turkey or Vietnam.

Full details on these awards is available at: https://www.mitacs.ca/globalink/globalink-research-award

Any Dalhousie faculty member interested in this opportunity is asked to contact Jennifer Morawiecki (jennifer.morawiecki@dal.ca) in International Research & Development for more information and support in developing an application, and to facilitate the necessary institutional signatures.

Note that Dalhousie has established an internal application process for these awards, and applications are currently being accepted for student placements in summer 2015 (commencing in May or June).

Deadline: 31 October 2014
