Deadline: Visiting Researcher Program – PNU, Saudi Arabia

Researchers at Dalhousie who are interested in forming collaborative research relationships with counterparts at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) in Saudi Arabia are invited to express interest in PNU’s Visiting Researcher Program for 2025-26.

As part of PNU’s mission to empower women’s leadership in scientific research, contribute to building a global knowledge-based economy, and support the 2030 vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that aims to invest in national potential and evaluate international expertise to build the future of the Kingdom, the Deanship of Scientific Research and Libraries has launched a funded Visiting Researcher Program that will bring together scholars from prestigious universities worldwide to enhance the capabilities of PNU's researchers. Creating a collaborative, cohesive scientific environment will help to establish collaborations in the field of research and enable the institution to compete on a global scale.

PNU has included Dalhousie as a foreign institutional partner in this program, and expressions of interest are now sought from women researchers at Dalhousie who are working in the following fields: AI, Cybersecurity, Big Data, Medical Informatics, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Nursing, Environmental and Sustainability Studies, and Women's Studies.

For more information and to express interest, researchers are asked to contact Dr. Jennifer Morawiecki, Director of Global Research Engagement in the Office of Government and Global Relations (jennifer.morawiecki@dal.ca), by Monday June 24, 2024.
