Deadline (Registration): NFRF sustainable development in the Arctic
NFRF is partnering with NordForsk and NSF for a new call to support sustainable development in the Arctic.
This call will support research collaboration among participating countries in the Arctic region to bring forward new knowledge on how to ensure the sustainable development of the Arctic. The objective is to jointly fund interdisciplinary research projects of the highest international quality, with potential for impact and societal relevance, and with clear added value from multilateral collaboration.
NFRF will provide up to $1m/year for 3-4 years for Canadian researchers to participate in successful projects.
Projects must:
- Include at least three different Nordic partners
- Address at least two of the three areas of science as defined by the European Research Council: Life science; Physical Sciences & Engineering; Social Sciences and Humanities
- Be co-led by Indigenous community partners
