Reports and Policies

Dalhousie University publishes the following reports each year:
 

Dalhousie Pension Plan Annual Reports - This report is from the Plan Administrator providing an overview of the Plan's membership and governance. Information on the funded status of the plan as reported by the most recent actuarial valuation, and presents the investment performance and financial postion for the fiscal year ending June 30th.

Pension Plan Actuarial Valuations - Report prepared by the Plan's actuary presenting the value of the Plan's assets and liabilities, the Plan's funded status, and the upcoming funding requirements.  The report is prepared at least every three years and is filed with the Nova Scotia Superintendent of Pensions.

Dalhousie Pension Trust Fund Annual Financial Statements - These statements are released each October presenting the financial position of the Pension Trust Fund for the prior June 30th year end.

Dalhousie Retirees' Trust Fund Annual Financial Statements and Report - These statements are released each October presenting the financial position of the Retirees' Trust Fund for the prior June 30th year end and the annual report to retirees.

Pension Advisory Committee (PAC) - A report on the matters reviewed by the Pension Advisory Committee for the June 30th year end.

Statement of Investment Policy & Guidelines - Retiree's Trust Fund [PDF-256KB] - Policies and guidelines governing the investment of the retiree's trust fund.  Updated June 2021
