Student Op‑Ed Competition

Heading into the 2025 Federal Election, we want to hear from you:
What is the biggest problem facing students in Atlantic Canada, and what should the government do about it?
Competition Details
The ask: Write a 750 word op-ed outlining what you believe is the biggest policy challenge facing students in Atlantic Canada, and what you think the federal government should be doing to address the issue.
Eligibility: The competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students at any Nova Scotia university or college.
Prize: The writer of the winning op-ed will receive $250.00.
Deadline: Submit your op-ed via email to emily.truesdale@dal.ca by 5:00 P.M. on April 25, 2025. Any submissions received after the deadline will not be eligible to win.
