Governance
The MacEachen Institute for Public Policy and Governance is a collaboration between Dalhousie's Faculties of Arts & Social Sciences, Health, Law and Management, as well as the Office of the Vice-President, Research.
The MacEachen Institute's Scholarly Director identifies key strategic research directions and priorities for the Institute, with oversight from the Governing Council.
Scholarly Director
Dr. Kevin Quigley
Professor, School of Public Administration
Dr. Kevin Quigley has been the Scholarly Director of the MacEachen Institute since its inception in 2016. His most recent book, Too Critical to Fail: How Canada Manages Threats to Critical Infrastructure was published by McGill-Queen's in November 2017 and was shortlisted for the Donner Prize. Research Committee
Our Research Committee is interdisciplinary and comprises, in addition to the Chair, faculty members and graduate students from each of our partner faculties: Arts & Social Sciences, Law and Management. Members of the Research Committee support the Institute’s research themes and its academic outputs and assist in building connections with public policy researchers within Dalhousie and nationally.
