Private Bookings

The Social is the perfect location for your next event, offering plenty of space for a wide range of events - including receptions, social gatherings, networking events, and celebrations. 

Details and pricing:

• Capacity: 116 standing, 60-65 seated
• Rates: $155 (half-day) $225 (full-day)

Catering and booking details:

• Catering: All food and beverages must be provided by Dalhousie Food Services—outside food is not permitted. Custom menus are available.
• For booking inquiries, please fill out the inquiry form.
• External Bookings: External groups are required to provide a Certificate of General Liability Insurance naming Dalhousie University as additionally insured.

*Discounts are available if renting The Social and Social Suite. Internal discounts are also available.
