Dalhousie University Alcohol Policy
The University Alcohol Policy outlines the obligations of Dalhousie University's faculty, staff and students with respect to consuming alcohol on campus and in the course of University events and activities.
The University recognizes the need to create and maintain a safe and secure environment in which the consumption of alcohol on campus does not harm or disrupt the teaching, learning, health and living environment of members of the University community. The purpose of this policy is to outline the obligations of University's faculty, staff and students with respect to the marketing, distribution, sale and consumption of alcohol on the University campuses and in the course of University events and activities.
Dalhousie has recently reviewed and revised its University Alcohol Policy. The most recent changes to the policy were effective as of August, 2021. Please review the policy to become familiar with the policy and the new requirements.
